Transforming our cities into livable spaces is a challenge that involves many stakeholders. The polis Convention 2021 held on September 15 and 16 at Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf is also becoming the industry meeting place for urban and project development. The caspar. architecture studio is an official partner of the nation’s leading trade fair. Both days of the event can also be attended online.

This year, the theme of the trade fair is the future of our city centers and (new) modes of dwelling, energy, and land policy. One of the central questions is “What does the equitable city actually look like?”

This question has also been a focus of the caspar. architecture studio, particularly with the publication of the lab report Retail in Transition – Verkaufswelten im Umbruch. As part of the opening panel on Wednesday, September 15, at 10:30 a.m., Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer will deliver a keynote speech that offers insights and ideas about the future of our cities.

This year’s highly anticipated polis Awards will be presented on September 15 at 5:30 p.m. The maxfrei / Ulmer Höh‘ project in Düsseldorf has also been nominated in the “Urban Space Recycling” category. caspar. collaborated on this project with HPP Architekten and goetzenarchitekten as a project partner of INTERBODEN, HAMBURG TEAM.
